From the Author
This is not a self-help book, crafted by an academically trained relationship expert. Nor is it a blueprint for fixing aching relationships.
As the author and facilitator of this journey, I am someone who hails from two fairly large maternal and paternal families. Like a typical child of these family environments, I witnessed many relationship disasters and a few reasonably successful ones.
Some which survived many years, where one or both partners have admitted to being comfortably unhappy.
Introduction to the Book
“You can’t go to dinner looking like that.” Nick comments as I walk down the stairs. I look down at my favourite red dress. “What’s wrong with it?” I ask, confused. “It’s so short, you’re asking for my mother to call you all kinds of names.”
